The clearest route to a plush toy that feels true to your character is to define the idea, translate it into a specification, make one physical sample, review it together, then release the approved version for production. You do not need to know factory terminology before you start—we organize the decisions with you.
Step 1
Share the idea and the outcome you want.
Start with whatever you have: character art, a hand sketch, a photo, a mood board, a previous product or a short written description. We first establish what the plush is for—an IP launch, retail collection, campaign gift, personal keepsake or event item—because intended use affects fabric, size, packaging and order quantity.
Tell us your preferred size, expected quantity, target delivery date and destination country. If you only have one image, that is still enough to begin.

Step 2
Turn the character into a production-ready plush specification.
A drawing shows personality; a factory needs construction decisions. We turn the approved direction into a working specification covering size, body proportions, pattern panels, colour placement, embroidery, appliqué, printed details, accessories, stuffing, labels and packaging. Where a character is shown only from the front, we clarify the side and back before the sample is made.
This protects the parts that make the character recognizable. A tiny facial detail may need embroidery rather than print, while a large colour block may work better as a separate fabric panel. The aim is to keep the character readable at the chosen size.

Step 3
Choose materials based on the desired feel and use.
Fabric changes both the look and character of a plush toy. Smooth short plush gives a clean, graphic surface for embroidered faces and clear colour blocks. Curly teddy-style or lamb-style pile creates a softer, more textured look. Longer synthetic faux fur can create a more dramatic silhouette, but needs careful control around seams and facial features.
We also choose the right detail method: embroidery for durable line work, appliqué for larger shapes, printed fabric for complex colour artwork, and sewn accessories where a three-dimensional element is needed. Before production, material swatches, composition, pile direction and colour references should be confirmed for the actual project.
Material names vary by supplier. Final fabric selection should be based on physical swatches and confirmed composition—not only a reference photo or generic name.
Step 4
Make the first physical plush sample.
Once the brief and material direction are confirmed, we create a pattern and make one physical sample. This is where the flat character becomes a real object: you can judge its size, proportions, balance, hand feel, filling level and how the face reads from different angles.
For a typical 10–15 cm plush design, an initial sample usually takes about seven days to make, excluding shipping and revisions. The sample cost starts from US$139 for this size range, excluding shipping. More complex construction, accessories, larger sizes or special materials are quoted individually.
Step 5
Review the sample together, then approve the version to reproduce.
The sample is not merely a photo checkpoint. It is the shared reference for the production run. We review silhouette, fabric feel, colour, facial expression, embroidery placement, accessory attachment, stuffing, seam placement, label position and packaging direction.
If changes are needed, we record them clearly and revise before scheduling the batch. Once the final sample is approved, it becomes the reference for the agreed production specification. Bulk production should not become a second design phase.

Step 6
Move into bulk production, quality checks and international delivery.
After approval, the production schedule is confirmed and the batch is made to the agreed sample and specification. For many plush projects, bulk production takes around 20–30 days after approval, subject to factory capacity, design complexity and order quantity. We coordinate agreed quality checks before the order is packed.
Indicative bulk pricing begins at US$13.90 per piece at 100 units and US$6.90 per piece at 500 units. These are not fixed prices: fabric, size, embroidery, accessories, packaging, quantity and logistics change the final quotation. Shipping is quoted separately according to destination and delivery method.

Questions first-time plush buyers often ask.
Can I start with only one image or a hand-drawn sketch?
Yes. One image can start the discussion. We identify what is needed for sampling, including the side and back view, size, key colour references and non-negotiable character features.
What files should I send for a custom plush quote?
Send the clearest artwork or photos you have, preferred size, expected quantity, delivery country and target date. Pantone colours, vector artwork, character turnarounds and packaging files are helpful but not required to begin.
Can you make changes after the first sample?
Yes. The sample stage exists to refine the physical product before bulk production. We document revisions to fabric, expression, proportions, accessories or packaging, then confirm the final version before the batch is scheduled.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk custom plush toys?
100 pieces is a typical starting point for bulk production. The viable MOQ depends on design, materials, construction and packaging, so it is confirmed with the project quote.
Why is the 500-unit price lower than the 100-unit price?
Pattern development, material purchasing and production setup are distributed across more units at a larger quantity. That usually reduces the per-piece cost, although final savings depend on the actual design and material choices.
Do the displayed prices include shipping, packaging or taxes?
No. Starting prices are indicative and exclude shipping. Packaging, destination-market requirements and logistics are confirmed when project details and the destination are known. Import duties or taxes, where applicable, are determined by the destination country.
Can you match an exact fabric or colour from a reference photo?
A reference photo is useful, but screen colours and fabric appearance are not exact. We confirm physical material swatches, composition, pile style and colour references before production.
Can you help with safety and compliance requirements?
We can support projects designed around CE, ASTM, RoHS, EN71 and FCC requirements. Required testing, documentation and final certification are confirmed for each product and destination market; they are not assumed from a generic product description.
Can you make plush toys for an existing brand or licensed character?
We can manufacture from artwork you are authorized to use. You are responsible for confirming that you own or have permission to use the intellectual property submitted for production.
Can I order a single plush toy?
Talk to us about the goal first. A sample can be the appropriate route for a one-off concept or approval model, while 100 pieces or more is a typical starting point for bulk plush production.
